Star Wars is a legendary science fiction franchise created by George Lucas. It began with the original movie released in 1977, later retitled Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. The story is set in a distant galaxy "far, far away", where good and evil clash in an epic struggle between the Jedi, guardians of peace who use the mystical Force, and the Sith, their dark-side counterparts.
